Donor Benefits

Canine Blood Typing: Have the benefit of knowing your dog’s blood type. All qualified candidates interested in the blood donor program will be typed DEA (dog erythrocyte antigen) 1.1 Negative or Positive.

Blood Protein and Packed Cell Monitoring for EVERY Donation

Temperature and Weight Monitoring

A healthy protein packed meal after every donation. (The donors seem to like this one best!)

By offering these benefits, we are able to monitor your pet's health which ensures a safe and reliable supply of blood products.  All costs for donor testing and maintenance as described above are covered by the blood bank.
