Pets Need Blood Too...

Like humans, our canine and feline companions have urgent needs for blood. In order to meet these demands we have established the Northwest Veterinary Blood Bank.

Could your pet be a donor?

Blood is a life-saving product and healthy donors are in great demand. We are looking for healthy dogs and cats between the ages of 8 months and 8 years old. Dogs should be over 45 pounds and cats over 8 pounds. In addition, the animal should be spayed or neutered, and not have had any previous blood transfusions.

If your pet is a universal donor they would benefit from their life-saving gift. Benefits include annual blood screening, yearly vaccinations, and a physical exam with each donation.
